Place of a meeting DIALOG

Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” ( Germany) in the framework of the programme “Treffpunk Dialog” allocated EUR 300,000 to fund projects in 2009.

The main purpose of the programme “Treffpunk Dialog” is to provide financial and methodological support for NGO’s working for people suffered from the totalitarian regimes (especially the victims of the Nazism) to develop dialogue and mutual understanding between the generations.

Geographically applications were distributed as follows:

• Dnipropetrovska oblast – 4 applications
• Donetska oblast – 7 applications
• Ivano-Frankivska oblast – 3 applications
• Kharkivska oblast – 11 applications
• Khersonska oblast – 2 applications
• Khmelnitska oblast – 12 applications
• Kirovohradska oblast – 3 applications
• Kyivska oblast– 15 applications
• Luhanska oblast – 6 applications
• Lvivska oblast – 8 applications
• Mykolayivska oblast – 4 applications
• Odesska oblast – 3 applications
• Poltavska oblast – 8 applications
• Sumska oblast – 8 applications
• Ternopilska oblast – 2 applications
• Volynska oblast – 6 applications
• Zakarpatska oblast– 2 applications
• Zaporizzka oblast – 5 applications
• Zhytomyrska oblast - 1 application

In April 2009 the Foundation Board of Directors has considered the recommendation of the independent international jury and made the final decision to finance 14 projects.
